  1. It is incredible to see how the "The city that never sleeps" can just disappear in an instant. It is not something to be astonished by but scared of since we do not know when this can occur. Yes, scientists may predict when this might happen but nature has no boundaries and can take an earlier turn in distruction. In this case; the great flood of Manhattan. I just believe that although we do not do something that might impact the world now, we must deal with the fact that this world can come t an end at any time.

  2. The information given about Pennsylvania shows us how others are taking action towards the affect that climate change is having. In my opinion I believe that although we are small and seem useless to others it is enough to say that we can help the world by our own means. Even though our nations are not coming to an agreement, we can help the planet we live on by just doing little things that can by our own means.

  3. New York is a big state just like Manhattan is a very big borough. I think it is amazing and fascinating the way science can allow people to see and conclude such prediction although it is very devastating. This shows the way science along with technology has come a long way. Yet, within years Manhattan will be under water I believe that this possible truth is scary. This is something I do not want to think about, but the reality is that there is a high chance for what is predicted for the future will come true. I think that this picture and all the information gathered so far about global warming and what can happen to world as a result should be a sign to people that we should come together and do something. Making a change to stop global warming surely will not fix all the damage that has been done already. Instead, making a change can preserve what is left of everything and everyone that has been affected by global warming. The people living in Manhattan right now should be of most concern, let alone the world.

  4. Article on Pennsylvania

I think that it is great that the Pennsylvania as a state recognizes that the state has contributed towards global warming. It is even better that the people of Pennsylvania are taking steps toward lowering all the emissions and factors that allows global warming to grow. It may take more than the people who are already making changes to change global warming. Moreover, every little thing a person does from now on can go towards preventing the worst for Pennsylvania including the rest of the world. Time is of the essence and the longer people wait to take action, is the sooner what is concluded for the future will be reality.

  5. As shown on the website http://www.northeastclimateimpacts.org/
I think it is great that States like Pennsylvania are taking certain measures to help society. Unfortunately, there aren't enough states that are helping but there are many that do not care until something happens. If the actions that are being taken in Pennsylvania are taken in many other areas the picture of New York City, my home, on http://www.scribd.com/doc/1308/What-Manhattan-might-look-like-if-sea-levels-continue-to-rise would not be as bad even though it's horrible. Where would kids like me live, survive, or even go to school because there will only be room for the elites and children that are minorities are left at the gutter and not paid any attention to because we are not rich enough to be considered powerful, knowledgeable, or even people.
